From the early Veilance days, this jacket was a precursor to the Node IS, which then became the Node Down. Coming Fall 2019, the Node IS form will be reintroduced with its signature sharp angled chest pockets and storm hood construction for a more streamlined and aggressive appearance. This early version was one of Veilance’s only pieces to feature primaloft insulation (before they switched to their own in-house coreloft) and cobrax sliding snaps along the cuffs versus the new laminated articulated cuff shields which, in my opinion, are bulky, cumbersome, and at times interrupt an otherwise sharp silhouette. Finished with exposed laminated front zip, hem adjust cord routed through the side entry waist pockets, storm hood with two adjustment points, and a trim sharp cut through the body and sleeves.
