Playful and irreverent as always, Craig Green reinvents traditional summer shirting with this Holiday Shirt. Well, it's labelled as a shirt but it actually has all the makings of a jacket. It's got a chunky center front zip closure, two-layer face fabric, fully constructed facing, and some serious heft, crispness, and structure. With all these qualities and a boxy, casual short sleeve shape, it sits in a novel medium with some excellent uses. Throw it on unzipped as a quick cover-up or use its structure to style it over something with longer sleeves. It captures the ease of a summer shirt but lends all the security and utility of a jacket. The fabrication is immaculate as well. Bright graphic color panels are grafted onto a black cotton backing with dense columns of shiny silver topstitch. Intensely intricate and eye-catching from both far away and close up, the shirt is filled with color, texture, and detail. The high contrast diagonal composition (which has found its way into an IKEA rug collaboration) lends a real dynamism to the piece on both the front and the back. You'll never get bored looking at this shirt. It's finished with two hidden-entry side pockets, an inner zipper pocket built into the facing, bound or felled seams on the interior, and an extra long combination strap + rope zipper pull.
Made in India 9/10 Condition, with no rips, stains, or tears. Some dirt at the optic white panels.
Fit Notes: Tagged a size medium, this thing fits boxy. It can easily be worn by a small to accentuate that fact. Or, a large can confidently fit this with a more regular fit.
