3L Gore-tex coat from Veilance's AW19 collection which features composition panelling of 80d nylon and their new twill weave face fabric, a nylon/polyester blend that retains all the expected technical properties of gore-tex but has the soft hand and natural look of a wool twill. This is the fabric's first appearance in the main collection (aside from the Special Makeup Monitor Down coats) and also the first appearance of the Navier AR silhouette. It is a slightly cropped coat with a sleek, slim fit through body and sleeves and an extremely minimalist finishing. The 3-point-adjust storm hood which combines collar and hood streamlines the silhouette, the hem is cut straight and plain, the matte black center front zip is covered by a low profile placket, and the zippered side entry pockets are set on a foldback gusset, hiding the hardware and pushing the bulk inwards for reduced visual signature when viewed from the front. All of these stripped back elements and the subtle contrast in materiality puts the emphasis on the patternmaking, the transition between plainweave nylon and tech twill polyester highlighting the curved sleeves, the shaped shoulders and back, and underarm gusseting. Finished with two interior zipped pockets and softshell gasket cuff set within gore-tex cuff.
