Toogood is known for their contemporary interpretations of historical workwear, with pieces that are named after the tradespeople who serve as inspiration. They've created garments such as the Draughtsman Shirt, Carpenter Jacket, Photographer Jacket, and Doorman Coat, all odes to another time and context. The Forager trouser is designed around the ancient practice of searching for food in one's local environment. With its elasticated waist and gently articulated knees, the fit is cropped, relaxed, comfortable, and facilitates movement. The beautiful grey wool features navy, gold, and even red tones to create amazing visual and color depth. However, the real statement lies in the detachable pockets. Asymmetrically sized and cut with expanding pleats for volume, they're situated at just the right height to drop foraged goods into them and easily removed with the sewn-on snaps so the wearer can quickly dump the contents out after they arrive home. The creation of this pant seems timely, as foraging seems to be seeing a revival in urban spaces, the act of connecting with one's food and locality becoming a radical act in today's global food economy.

Made in the UK
8/10 Condition, with no rips or tears. Some pilling at the crotch is purely aesthetic and does not compromise the structural integrity of the fabric. Two mostly unnoticeable spots at wearer's left back thigh (see pictures).

Fit Notes:
Comfortable elasticated waist fits most, starting at a 32. No drawstring means it can't be manually tightened to fit smaller.
