The simply named 'Hoodie Jacket' is anything but simple. It takes a huge breadth of design inspirations and collages them into one package, making for an incredibly detail-rich yet easy to wear piece. Cut in a lightweight crinkle nylon, the shape is reminiscent of a military M65 parka that's been cropped, with its baggy articulated sleeves and drawcord waist, with a zipper placket that looks like that of the full length version but folded up and left to drape. Raw edge panelling at the shoulders frames two patch pockets with eyelet details at the bottom. The key feature of the piece is the hood though, with a jockey inspired brimmed shape in keeping with the collection's equestrian theme. It has a 3-layered facemask/throat-latch that creates an armor-like appearance when donned, making the piece function great as a midlayer since the statement detail is still visible. It features an interior belt in self-fabric and western hardware that lets the wearer sling the jacket across the body when its not being worn. It appeared like this on the runway, slung beneath long suit jackets, trailing dramatically behind the models as they walked.
