The fruit of a collaboration between Alyx and Japanese DIY experts Blackmeans, these 'destroyed' jeans achieve the look in a painstakingly constructed way that ensures the structural integrity of the garment. Instead of distressing or slashing open a pair of black denim, individual raw-edged strips of fabric are stitched horizontally onto the base pant which is what creates the frayed, stringy, destroyed texture. Tiered down the legs are an assortment of different fabrications--densely stitched darned strips and hand-set metal studs. All of these different extensively detailed elements coalesce into a pant that reads at once both DIY punk and artisan handcrafted.
Finished with shank waist button closure with zipper fly, two invisible zippered coin pockets set above the jean style j-pockets, and segmented back yoke construction with subtle Alyx-branded webbing hang loop. Black pebbled leather back patch with small metal Alyx clamp at the rear.
Made in Italy 8.5/10 Condition, with no rips, stains, or tears. Fraying of the distressed strips is part of the design and does not affect the structural integrity of the pant.
