Articulated trouser from Maharishi, featuring AW99's signature octagonal patch detail. More commonly seen on the elbows of jackets, the patch here features on the knees of a military-style trouser, with knee darts sewn through the patches themselves. The double-layered structure of the patches combined with the shaping of the darts creates a 3D off-the-body fit through the leg that's incredibly flattering. Patch placement and the shockcord + zipper expandable hem nod to vintage Italian Paratrooper pants, but with a detail set adapted to city use. Reflective 3M stitching fastens patch to trouser but also provides nighttime visibility. A proprietary 'showerproof' treatment provides resistance against inclement weather conditions, while eyelet vent holes at the crotch help regulate temperature and moisture in high exertion/perspiration areas.
Finished with snap button waist closure and zipper fly, two flapped/snap-close waist pockets, and single flap closed back patch pocket.
Made in the UK 8/10 Condition, with no rips, stains, or tears. Some patina throughout.
Fit Notes: Tagged a size small, these will fit a W30-32. Inseam is cut short, can read as full length for those with a regular inseam of up to 29". Can work well as a cropped pant or on top of boots for those with longer inseams.
