Perhaps the most iconic staple from SS04, the nipple cutout tank effortlessly yet so drastically changes the idea of a basic garment with a beautifully organic asymmetry. The edges which at first appear to be simply cut out and left raw, are actually finished with an extremely thin elastic sewed in with very fine overlock stitches around the entire piece. This piece is a staple in contemporary fashion, repeatedly being referenced by newer Helmut and housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
