This Macramé longsleeve from Spring 2004 demonstrates Takahiro's penchant for hand craft and androgynous style. White rope wrapped in metallic silver thread is woven in an alternating square knot, with the hems of sleeves and body left trailing. Its openness and delicate look are representative of a vulnerable side of menswear that reads as cutting edge over 15 years later (Case in point: the Macramé technique was reused in Takahiromiyashita The Soloist's Spring 2020 collection). Amazing both as a layering piece or standalone (as it was shown on the runway)
Made in China 10/10 Condition, new with tags
Fit Notes: Free size, slim in sleeves and body but the nature of macrame is flexible given the openness. Best suits an S/M or slim L
