This pair of wide shorts spares no expense. Cut in a beautiful lustrous golden satin, the embroidery mirrors the artful patterns of ancient Chinese robes. Here, the embroidered details are sewn in dual-tone metallic thread, lenticular and reflecting gold on one side, silver on the other. The tones shift in motion, which combined with the sheen of the acetate fabric, create an amazingly dynamic visual quality. The shorts are fully lined in turquoise polyester to match the glass bead detailing at the belt loops, inspired by Chaozhu court necklaces. They're finished with canted back pocket openings closed with deadstock 'cat-eye' buttons
