I truly believe Takahashi has instilled within him some divine ability when it comes to creating these riders. This one is unique in comparison to many of the others he has created at Undercover, it features an all-over plaid print which usually appears on wool dating back to tribal Scotland, it was later adopted by Vivienne Westwood as a prominent theme in her early punk collections at "Sex". It is no secret that Takahashi is a huge fan of Westwood and the punk aesthetic, this rider serves as a perfect signifier of that taking both the rider jacket and the plaid and combining them into one excellent garment. One of the coolest parts of the jacket is that the green low-opacity plaid pattern has been printed on to the cow-hide leather, it's a unique idea and an interesting application of print on an otherwise classic rendition of the rider jacket.
The muddy red lining is that one small part of the composition of the garment that elevates it to a standard above. The pockets are also placed high which when worn oversized (which is perhaps the best way to wear this jacket) looks incredible.
Made in Japan. 9/10 Condition, one notch of the neck tag has come loose.
