This listing is for the full suit, including jacket, pants, and shirt. All items are size 2 and fit a 48. Standout suit from Yohji Yamamoto's Spring/Summer 2013 Menswear show. This is one of the looks that utilized the braided string-tie detailing that ran throughout the collection. Cut from Yohji’s famous wool gabardine, the suit has an incredible softness and flowing drape even when the fit is slightly trimmer. Even the braided strings are cut from the same material and are routed through the many zippered details to enhance the flowing visual effect while in motion. The added zippers have their unique consequence in the tailoring as well. Some lead to roomy front entry pockets while others act as surgeon cuffs on the sleeves. The matching pants are cut slim and flattering and feature a cinch back waist and a single braided tie to mimic a wallet chain while the shirt is cut in a super soft fine white cotton with an added zippered chest pocket.
Made in Japan 8/10 - Great used condition, with some slight wrinkling from storage. There is separation along the armpit seam on the lining of the jacket and an inch-long separation along the outseam (both easy fixes), and some yellowing and dirt on the cuff/collar of the shirt.
