Black raw-edged hoodcoat from 90s Japanese designer Yuji Yamada known for his deconstructionist design. This coat is cut in elegant worsted wool with 5 raw edge layers layers at the sleeves, hem, and hood. These layers add dimension and also allow for more trailing, fraying, and unravelling yarns. At the sleeves, the 5 layers extend all the way up to the elbow so they can be folded up to create a stacked/ruched effect. The piece is finished with a zip front closure, two patch waist pockets, and an button-removable quilted liner vest in pop yellow.
Made in Japan 9/10 Condition, with no rips, stains, or tears. Fraying at the raw edges is an intentional part of the design.
Fit Notes: Tagged Free size, fits around a men's M with a slim fit through the sleeves and body. Suitable also for a men's small looking for a roomier fit or women's XS-L
