Two piece 'Twinset' leather jacket from Fall 2018, a collection preoccupied with multiplicity, mass manufacturing, waste, and excess within fashion. This leather features two fully finished garments that can be worn together or separately for different effects. The collarless oversized vest with quilted lining and waist pockets is a perfect layering piece over other outerwear while the quilted flannel shirt with matching leather sleeves and collar is fully fashioned with on-seam side pockets so it's ready to be worn standalone. They interface together with a clunky charm that lets you know that you're not looking at one garment--just a bit of flannel peeks out around the armhole and the collar seems to float above the brown leather body. It takes the archetypes of 'brown leather jacket' and 'quilted flannel shirt' and abstracts them in a subversive yet playful way that reads truly 'Demna'
Vest is finished with brass-toned center front zip and single interior chest pocket. Padded flannel is finished with black quilted/padded lining, zippered cuffs, and snap button front closure.
