From N°37 New Sheheit collection, this sweater was part of a 3-piece capsule collaboration between Bless and surfwear company Oxbow. The capsule consisted of 3 redesigned versions of Oxbow's signature 'Skolpen' sweater using some of Bless's signature techniques and sensibilities (such as digitally woven imagery, patchwork/repieced design, etc.) This Skolpen features a jacquard knit landscape image rendered in Anaglyph 3D and was originally sold with a pair of red/cyan 3D glasses to experience the full depth effect of the graphic. It encapsulates founders Desiree Heiss's and Ines Kaag's playfully subversive approach to design, using optical illusory effects usually reserved for novelty film/toys to question the viewer's experience with a piece of clothing. Who can see the true intended image of a garment and how does the dynamic visual nature of a piece change the impression of the wearer to others?
Made in Portugal 8.5/10 Condition, with no rips, stains, or tears. Neck tag has some yellowing and fraying (sold with raw cut tag). Accompanying 3D glasses not included.
Fit Notes: Tagged size M but fits boxy and oversize. Looks great as a big fit on people who wear XS-S, boxy fit on M and can accommodate a Large who prefers a closer fit.
