Embroidered retail division staff varsity from 80s Kansai Yamamoto, featuring a deep forest green woolen body and off-white creamy leather sleeves. The jacket is cut with a traditional shoulder but the leather extends towards the neck to create a trompe l'oeil raglan sleeve effect. An array of subtle design twists elevat the piece--an asymmetrical Japanese workwear style flap pocket is set above the wearer's left waist welt pocket, an ovular zippered MA-1 pocket is placed on the right sleeve. The finishing touch is the statement embroidery on the front chest and across the back, artfully done in a variation of vibrant colors and metallic textures with incredibly high detail resolution.
Finished with snap front closure, knit rib composed of two different tiered stitch types, and quilted inner lining through body and sleeves.
Made in Japan 7/10 Condition, with no rips or tears. Some spots on the leather and fading/signs of wear throughout. In great shape considering its age. Minimal pilling on woolen body/rib.
Fit Notes: No tagged size, fits like a TTS Large with a regular fit in the body.
