90s-2000s Japanese label Pied Piper creates utilitarian and functional clothing that's versatile and wearable. Here is a pair of modular cargo trousers cut in a structured technical cotton/polyester blend. The fabric holds its shape beautifully, with a dry papery handfeel that feels durable yet light. The texture and aging is beautiful, an olive/brown that shifts tonality in different lighting. The legs are cut with knee articulation that gives a slightly flared silhouette below the knee and feature a statement detachable cargo pocket using velcro and snaps.
Finished with hook and eye waist closure and riri zipper fly, two back welt pockets, and two front slash pockets with eyelet detailing.
Made in Japan 8/10 Condition, with no rips, stains, or tears. Missing interior button fastening at waist and 1 detachable cargo pocket. Patina from wear throughout
Fit Notes: Tagged a size 46 and suitable for a size 29-30W (maybe 31W). There is also about 1" of extra fabric on either side of the back waist/seat (may accommodate up to 31-32W if this is let out). Mid-low rise with slim cut through the seat and thighs. Straight leg with articulation that cants the lower leg backwards and creates a subtle flared silhouette.
