Leather jacket from the futuristic and technical 'Earmuff Maniac' collection. This jacket is cut from supple cowhide that is thick and protective, yet soft and comfortable. It features a subtly asymmetrical covered placket that sets it halfway in between single and double rider. The front is punctuated with silver-toned zippers that lend a sharp edge to the waist and lower shoulder where there are two small layered utility pockets. The armholes feature knit inserts, a recurring detail in Undercover's repertoire. In handmade One Off rebuild pieces, this insert helps bridge the gap between two potentially different armhole patterns since arm and bodice are taken from two different vintage garments. Here, it is a material feature that ties the piece into the rest of the knitwear-heavy collection. It also serves a functional purpose: the stretch and pliability of the knit insert adds excellent range of motion while allowing the cut to remain sleek and slim.
The piece is finished with integrated belt at waist, zip and button closed cuffs, snap waist adjusters at the back, cupro sleeve lining, cotton flannel body lining, and one interior chest pocket.
Made in Japan 8/10 Condition, with no rips, stains, or tears. Some creasing of leather and some loose threads at extended waist belt and knit shoulder insert.
