Wore Dance, Syn Murayama's label prior to Twoness, focuses on everyday streetwear with a humorous and often subversive twist. Here Murayama recreates a pair of deadstock Levi's 501s but rendered in full pink corduroy (down to the wrapped waist button) with all the tags and accoutrements you would find on a new pair fully constructed and frozen in place (paper size labels on the back pocket and waistband in corduroy, the silhouette of a stickered size tag running down the back thigh embroidered instead). Charming, playful, and at the same time incredibly wearable and versatile. They serve as an interesting predecessor to the Levi's x Vetements collaboration with paper tags rendered in leather from Spring 2018.
Finished with IDEAL zipper fly, two patch back pockets, traditional jean-style front pockets, and tonal corduroy belt loops.
Made in Japan 8.5/10 Condition, with no rips or tears. Single spot at wearer's left thigh that could possibly be removed by a dry cleaner.
Fit Notes: Tagged a size M, fits a W32 with a slim straight leg that nods towards the classic Levi's 501.
