These are a pair of oversize-waist cargo pants from Yohji Yamamoto Y’s. The waist is meant to be cinched down to fit the wearer, adding a ruching effect around the waist and introducing pleats to add volume. These are made in Yohji’s signature wool gabardine that drapes beautifully when worn and the detailing draws on the perfect military cues to create a pant that is both utilitarian, futuristic, and refined. The cut is very roomy in the top block with a slight taper in the lower leg, yielding a perfectly tailored look.
