Tailored coat from 90s Japanese designer Yuji Yamada, featuring a statement design which uses the appearance of a semitransparent folded overlay laid on top of a wool houndstooth. There is no fabric that's actually folded over itself, the effect is actually created on the yarn level through intricate textile design. Convertible collar means the coat can be worn with lapels or with more of a foldover mac coat styling. Raw edges throughout with tiered 'gill' style welt pockets at the waist.
Finished with reversed, tabbed, button center closure for a lower profile. Single back vent. Full cotton lining with single interior breast pocket.
