Zucca demonstrates impeccable patternmaking expertise and design sensibility in the construction of this zip-up biker jacket, which utilizes unique pleats, gussets, and darting as statement visual details. The elbows feature a layered, oval-shaped gusset with inset panels that are able to flex and contract based on the wearer's movement. The armpits are also cut with a 3 piece gusset, allowing for flexibility and range of motion, necessary for a jacket that is cut with a slimmer silhouette and considering the lack of stretch in the water-resistant high-density woven cotton face fabric. All four front pockets are nested on either folded panels or darts as well. The utilitarian and aesthetic details coalesce perfectly here to create a functional jacket that is both so easily wearable and intensely interesting.
Finished with a two-way center front zipper, fully cotton-lined interior, hem drawcord, ribbed cuffs, and stowable hood.
Made in Japan 8.5/10 Condition, with no rips, stains, or tears. Slight fading throughout reads as a nice patina.
Fit Notes: Tagged size small, can suit a shorter/slimmer medium as well.
